Man Utd Set to Confirm Striker Signing, Five-Year Deal Agreed

Manchester United are set to complete the signing of promising French striker Enzo Kana-Biyik on a free transfer, according to Manchester Evening News journalist Steven Railston.

The Red Devils are expected to officially add another highly-rated teenager to their youth ranks alongside Sekou Kone and Chido Obi, with Kana-Biyik’s arrival now nearing completion.

The 18-year-old striker agreed to join United on a five-year deal back in April, and the club are now waiting on a few regulatory steps before making the move official.

Kana-Biyik is set to follow in the footsteps of former United midfielder Paul Pogba, who also joined the club from French side Le Havre as a teenager back in 2009.

The 18-year-old prodigy will join from Le Havre

According to Railston, United have yet to finalise a development plan for Kana-Biyik, despite earlier suggestions that INEOS-owned Lausanne could take him on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.

The French youngster spent last season training with Le Havre’s first-team squad, but did not make his senior debut, although he was named in two matchday squads.

He scored nine goals and provided one assist for the club’s U-19 side and earned his first call-up to the France U-18 squad in March.

United have been active in the transfer market recently, with Matheus Cunha arriving as their first summer signing and talks ongoing for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.

The Cameroonian winger is believed to be prioritising a move to Old Trafford, with negotiations continuing between the two clubs over a potential deal.

United are also expected to recruit a new first-choice striker this summer and are believed to be targeting Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.
